Okay......this is what i got so far.....he was an Over bearing tyrant king, in love with yeo dam but didnt know what love is basically......inconsiderate, insensitive.....taking him when where and how he pleases regardless because im assuming he saw him as his possession.........he was just really fucked up as he had a fucked up, upbringing. Yeo dam even though he suffered tremendously loved him despite that * cuz...you know love is a fucked up thing* but yh sp when the majesty died in his previous lofe yeodam healed him by inflicting it on himself.....and thats how he died....the goddess who favored yeo dam reincarnated him and at a time before he met his majesty *i personally think she knew hed be happiest with the majesty and gave him the opportunity knowing hed change based on yeodams influence...but idk thats just a feeling* but anywho.....yeah i think the majesty was turned back young at first the same time as yeo dam and got attached to him all pver again the first time he stayed and when he returned to the palace i assume he had to return to his usual appearance....hence using magic to change to a child for the entire 8 years hed go back to visit yeodam........

Why let Yeom-dam kill himself, when the emperor was fine? I mean, he was the love of his life, why lie about your condition and let your lover die? He was so obsessive, possessive and protective of him, it doesn’t makes sense to me
