i agree with the stuff you said... even tho khaol did isnt something you can forgive easily. but i still dont hate him... if i was in his shoes i probably would hate people that get my lover killed and stuff... at least he learns to let go and trying to at least help.... if he is someone that isnt willing to change hecould just let everyone die while knowing it. and he isnt forcing himself onto river but instead try to let river go cuz thats the best gift he could ever give his ex bride. letting go isnt easy as people make it out to be. some people cant and some can easily let go and some are able to after some time.

I actually agree. I don't like Khaol, but I also don't hate him because he is too pitiful to hate at this point. Also from what I can see, he will get his redemption with this Lari situation which is a good character development. What he did to River is inexcusable and that is why he wasn't good for River before and won't be now. Its ok for people to hate him, but they can't say he didn't change or didn't suffer for his choices.
Idk who these ppl are that are NOW, after 2 seasons complaining about the title. Like? Have you read the story?? The whole 1st season was about the title, River gave Khaol so many chances and tried to change him, but this shows that someone can't change because of love of another person, he also needs the WILL to change. Also the fact Khaol was also in love with Kaveri doesn't help the situation. The story was going in a natural direction and after everything Khaol put River thru, River chose the 2nd ML who actually respects him and is a healthier and better choice. River has been so happy since then.
ALSO THE STORY DIDN'T END. Let the author end the story and maybe she will tie the title to the ending. Like Khaol dying and River thanking him for being his groom cause he would never meet Heil or save the world. It would also be a good end for Khaol who has only felt pain since becoming a god. Also idk what story you have been reading if you was Khaol and River to end up together.
