I'm not 100% sure but from my understanding Jake is somewhat a 'good guy'. He's a double agent that's pretending to be a gang member to get insider info, he's working for the government to bring down both, if not all the gangs.
They are so my babies, I love both of them so much. The plot twist about Jake was actually kinda shocking tho
