I agree! I hate how in most stories the uke is always the weak soft and submissive one, it's so stereotypical. This is refreshing to me and I hope he stays that way!
It's quite understandable why he doesn't want a guide as it did allude that he has some sort of trauma against them and if he didn't refuse I would be rather concerned. That being said, you would also get annoyed if people kept on refusing your refusal against something and consenting to something you didn't consent for (￣ε(#￣)Σ
Yeah but if he doesn’t have a guide he’ll die. A guide would improve his health but instead he keeps doing missions without healing himself which is why he collapsed in the beginning
