In defense of Nolan because I really felt bad for the dude.. his teleportation skill is really limited and he's really weak. He'd get caught sooner or later. His boss probably knows where he lives if he knows every person info about Nolan. Plus, can you trust Evan? Nolan's fear is legit and the hero organisation seems like your average government institute as in they're not that competent, there are corruptions, at the very end they don't think much of Nolan (even threatened him).
Bro, I read FUCKED up shit, like I probably need therapy, but this one just made me kinda uncomfortable (not in a good way), I think it’s mostly because the tone did not match the context. Like aside from just (almost) every character being weirdly hostile to him, Nolan himself and the general tone of the webtoon seemed to hate him as well lol I like irreverent, dark humor, I like complicated, psychopathic characters and angsty stuff, but it can be hard to do right- you have to give your darker elements the respect their due or you have be intentional. Even though I had high hopes, 2/3 of the way through I can’t say I really like it.

Even trying to view Nolan through the lens of someone who has been victimized and blackmailed, his behavior is complexing=he can teleport. Like let that settle in, he CAN TELEPORT, I literally was just silently yelling at my screen constantly: “JUST TELEPORT AWAY!”. Not only can he teleport but he has a super strong backer that not only has the will but the means to protect him; his boss didn’t even know where he lived, all he had to do was stay home, but he went to him willingly and didn’t teleport away. I don’t know his behavior seems designed to screw him over the most, whether it makes sense or not.
And then you have the overall tone of the manga which, again, just seems designed to laugh at his misfortune. Like there’s a graphic non-consensual double penetration scene, you see it tearing and blood coming out, it’s…. not great, it didn’t make me feel great to see it, but the way the act was written and the way Nolan’s expressions/inner thoughts were portrayed- it didn’t read like a violent gang rape, it read like him admonishing a “overbearing” seme. Even in the next panel, you have walking with the silly “wiggly legs” and he’s all “I’m going to have to lie in bed for a week, those silly gooses!” (Not verbatim). I honestly, couldn’t keep reading at that point because I just felt so uncomfortable lol
