Naw, of course not lol but your cat might spill water on it, or the power might go out, maybe a tornado might send it to oz? No matter what, you should always back up your stuff and most apps I can think of, do it automatically. Besides he said he lost like a weeks worth of work- it’s not his fault the laptop broke but it’s definitely risky bisky to not back up all those important assignments. I’m side-eyeing.
Heck, the real master plan here is to act just pitiful and distant enough to arouse his guilt/protective instincts and get that muthafucka to buy you a real expensive laptop! Then sign into your apps with your new luxury computer and live your life lol
