Right, but at the same time it's understandable that they want stronger men to stay in their village to hunt and stuff.
Welp, this made me look up shark dicks.
But also, it really bothered me how the losers in the one clan were automatically the women. This is basically the message we get all of our lives in a patriarchal society. Avel wants to change how things are done in his clan, and hopefully he succeeds, but it doesn't look like his father is willing to budge on much.
