Literally!!! When I sense a potential love interest I die a little inside. Like??? Why ruin a perfectly good story with romance that you can't even write well/make enjoyable

Ikr. Fan service is okay but UNNECESSARY fan service is not.
I wouldn't even mind romance if they just made the female love interests into actual good characters. But 98% of the time, they just end up as trash and annoying.
Why do I always got annoyed when romamce is getting involve? Its hard to read some of the stories now that they got romamce starting in the story especially in the beginning and middle part, I won't mind in the end but please, please let the MC do his thing.
We really got traumatized by the annoying, damsel in distress b!tch€s that we became allergic to romance, huh?
