The characters are all unlikeable. FL lashes out at everyone, yelled some out of pocket mess to Seojin and never apologized for it. She’s like a tsundere character written by a teenage girl. She’s not a good friend but then acts as if she’s totally alone in life and can’t for the life of her communicate like a normal, sane person. The ML is just as bad, and while I know people like the pretentious spoiled chaebol type character, he’s literally just a dickwad. At least he apologizes sometimes though, I guess. The constant back and forth between them due to their individual fits of drama gets old and obnoxious FAST. It’s hard to really be invested in or sympathetic towards any of the other characters because they either have no presence at all, or have a whole chunk of their personality/past delivered through dialogue and quick single-panel flashes of their past, which serves only no purpose. The story is fast-paced, convoluted, and jumps around from point to point with hardly any sense of actual progression because they keep using flashbacks as a plot device. You get from point A to point D and then b and c are just kinda sprinkled in at random. It’s also full to the brim with cliches and far too easily resolved conflicts that come across more like a speedily written fanfic than an actual original story. This would have been a good manwha if not for how fast paced and questionably written it is. The premise is plenty interesting on its own. They could have taken their time and fleshed it out in a longer story, but they didn’t, and were left with Wattpad: The Manwha.
All that to say, I can’t keep reading it, for my sanity’s sake.
