I find it kinda interesting how the backstories changed how the readers viewed cirrus to be and it varies too. I do agree with you tho to the fact that the past does and does not justify his personality and also how he interact with others especially with the MC. Its a good exploration of how a character ends up the way he is and i love the author for that.

Yes! I also think the opinion on cirrus changed because he was only a child starved for love. I guess people only hope he will join Skylar in the path to healing but I don't have that much hope if I'm honest, but who knows. I'm ready for this journey!

There seem to be newcomers of the psychological genre. Pls be aware that this genre is LOW on anything close to romantic and HIGH in characterization and plot. Also don't complain about short chapters when you're receiving something for free, illegally.
Lastly, the SA did not "come out of nowhere". We're seeing the result of Cirrus' past come to light, an explanation, not an excuse of course. This is not like other BL where it's ignored and done for the sake of it. Cheers o7
