I might have to diverge here on my take after reading up to chapter 30 >,> had to find the 3 others on another site but that's beside the point...
I have this feeling, mind you it was after the first prize reward of a dragon egg made me think again. What if the "past" her isn't really that, but the goddess of time which you learn about in chapter 28 or 29. And if you pay attention in the description of the Goddess who ascended with a dragon she had pink hair and looked quite similar to our MC. So I'm thinking she might be the Goddess' incarnation which when she died the Goddess of time felt saddened by her death by poison and rewound time to try and give the information from the first time line in the book form as she spoke with our MC as a spirit pretending to be her past self.
The past self was already a flag because wouldn't they technically be the same soul, why would part of her soul reach out or she reach out to this soul piece if it wasn't this method?
[Beyond here is spoilers....]
So I read that because she was changing things the book started to have changes in it's details as well. The story between the OG FL and our ML just disappeared from the contents. This sort of fuels my idea on the past self not really being her.
The dragon egg starts to have movement and after a bit it hatches. You learn some stuff from that dragon as well.
Here's the big kicker... that theory on her being the Goddess incarnate is correct as they hint at it being so throughout the novel. >_>
Not sure on the time goddess yet, but that's all the brief info I could find with someone doing spoiler drops until chapter 73 in the novel.
It just seems to me the OG FL is jealous that our MC is gaining popularity, power, ect and thinks she'll lose her position to become Empress when our MC would want nothing more than to be with our ML. The series seemed to miss a key scene that was in the novel, but when she passed out from pouring her mana into the heart she briefly woke up to hear that she would die before she reaches 20 because of her collapses mana vessels. I'm pretty sure she wouldn't because she's the Goddess' reincarnation, but she'll learn this.
I will agree on the manhwa's execution being bland, they did leave out key important parts, but hopefully it gets better. The novel made it sound like it'd get interesting [didn't drop those spoilers though >:3] so I'm hoping it will be getting more on the side of interesting. We could already tell the OG FL was evil, but she is downright vile.
I know it has the same plot that every villainess who reincarnated/time travelled manga has, but even the interesting things about it is boring.
MC has knowledge about the future because of a book that her former older self in the dream has, which is unique, as well as the kissing priest thing, but everything is just the same. It feels so convenient for her. If she wants something she always gets it with little to no difficulty because either the people around love her a lot so they give in or are too stupid to do enough to act as her obstacle. She feels so boring because she feels like a Mary Sue. The only antagonist introduced is her brother and the princess, but the princess appears only to say "how interesting" and do stupid shit, while the brother practically does nothing but throw tantrums cause ML is always there. The father is suppose to be her major antagonist but you only see him 3-5 times ._.
I'm dropping this. The title was interesting but the manhwa's execution is so bland I can't be bothered to care.
