I binge-read the novel cuz the story was really good and the entire time I was thinking -" maybe the author of this novel made edith such a pitiful character just to make us readers hate rize all the more, so that they can give rize a cruel ending and we'd be reallyyyyyy satisfied." But making her marry cliff and nobody outside the ludwig mansion knowing about her true face, that's complete shit

bro this ending is so unfair and i feel like the villain just keeps winning till the end? I mean, in the majority in the novel, she does what she wants, even in the real world, she's a successful author but decided to be a narcissistic bitch that harrassed others, and in the end her partner is still in love with her not only that, but her reputation is still clean cause the family decided not to reveal all of the shit she's done???? thats it?? after all the torture our FL goes through all she gets is a slap on the wrist?
