yeah sure it adds to his character but they could have just stuck with bullying or something else but to include sexual abuse, seriously??? we are trying to enjoy reading not this shit

so you enjoyed reading about the bullying? If you can't handle the topic, it's on you. Authors are not going to stop talking about SA as a whole because @watashinoshinikata said it's not enjoyable. Not all stories are butterflies and rainbows, just like in the real world, so just suck it up you whiny *ss.
Just my personal opinion but although the whole thing is sickening, the whole bullying backstory gives depth to yeonwoos character (why he is timid and lacking in self esteem all the time). I mean the whole story is about his innocence right? I felt like a story like this was bound to have some kinda dark elements and I don't regret reading bc I know it's probably going to be healing in the end. Angst and healing
