Plot point is infuriating

I've read some of the spoilers and understand why they are acting like this, but I wish the author didn't set it up like this. They never set her up to act like she was looking for attention let alone make no sense that the first time she did it would be with poison. If Rize was also poisoned by a gift from her and it was simple thread the most logical answer be that Edith was the target and the poisoner didn't know it was a gift. Like the person who did it thought Edith would use it. I know that Rize is in control, but at least make it logical and not an accusation feast for no reason every time. It gets tiring. I like the story, but the illogical accusations out of nowhere make it irritating.
