Art is gorgeous! Jaekyung is so, so, so hot. It’s always the stunning ones with the problems. Anyway, the story makes me feel a deep sadness, though. If the author does a 180° on the typical Yaoi plot and the uke rejects the seme and dates that ravenously gorgeous actor, effectively having the seme bear immense remorse and repercussions for his past actions while the uke overcomes hardship and faces both his lifelong and present psychological trauma, I’ll be the happiest person alive! Unfortunately that’s not going to happen, but I’ll read on because I’m Team Uke above all else. At this point the co-dependency and trauma bonding from Dan’s innate need for attachment, intimacy, and security is bordering Stockholm Syndrome, but we move … by drowning ourselves in escape. I mean, the story is so sickening, but I can’t stop. Jaekyung better have one HELL of a redemption arc.
