'The one who holds the bow'

Depending on the way that you look at it, in the prophecy of 'the one who holds the bow', 'the one' could be plural (Yama's take, ie: Geumsun, 704, San, Hoseung) or singular. The singular 'one' being Hoseung. Hoseung came to the conclusion that he wasn't the 'one' in the prophecy despite thinking that he was in the beginning. But I think that he played the biggest role in helping the prophecy come true.

1) He protected 704 in his past life allowing him to reach adulthood and to meet Geumsun and the others, he was also the one to teach 704 how to shoot with a bow.And we know that it was 704 who shot the arrows that ultimately took down Hwan in the future.
2) San is a descendant of Hoseung, they both have the same amazing bow and arrow skills. We see that in the future, San's use of a bow was a detrimental factor in injuring Hwan. And we also know that Hoseung was the one who gave the beaded bracelet to be passed down to his descendants to protect them (which we can interfere, helped to protect the lineage that led to San).
3) Hoseung ran away and survived after his family got slaughtered, protecting the fan, which Geumsun was created from, and raising him!!

Personally, I think that Yama's take is correct but it's beautiful to think that Hoseung laid down many stepping stones in the past that aided the others immensely in the future to take down Hwan.
