Scattered soul in different world and MC transmigrated to each one is such a trope. I love it and had read so many of them. The author of QWTFOTD wrote many other novels with that trope. All pretty good and satisfying to read.

One thing to note before you start reading this author's work. This author can get pretty nationalistic, especially in their modern setting stories.
