The manga is incredible, definitely read it.
I can also just recommend reading it. I love the plot and the characters but don't force yourself. If you realize the manga is not for you because of the style or some themes (remember it has the historical tag), then it's okay to stop. Though maybe you also fall in love with the story, and the style won't bother you after two or three chapters ^^. And if you have questions, a lot of people here will be eager to answer them for you.

i really want to but the hair throws me off, i know it’s a traditional hairstyle but i’m just not used to it, should i just ignore it and read the manga though?
