Creating a horrible, abusive toxic seme is easy, creating a “likable”, redeemable toxic seme is an art form. It really comes down to motive and character- is the gong acting like this because he’s an oblivious, spoiled, emotionally stunted man-child who’s never known love so he’s scared/confused by his feelings? Redeemable. Is he acting crazy because he’s so in love/obsessed with the uke but doesn’t know how to express himself healthily? Redeemable.
