I fucking know right. WHY ARE PEOPLE BLAMING THE FL? We always blame the mistress in such scenarios. But the ML and his wife does not deserve an ounce of sympathy. Atleast from my side. They both know what they were doing and they had the upper hand considering they are both in position of POWER, the power dynamic is completely off. Also the ML knowing that he took a mistress to irk the wife. It was his responsibility to make sure that atleast the female lead was SAFE AND PROTECTED under him which he failed terribly. Tbh they are the ones to BLAME, not the other way around. Toying, using and torturing the female lead to have their way. TRASH that deserve each other! (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Someone who has spent their entire life abused and beaten. Shocker, they don’t have the confidence, ability, or freedom, to reject being a mistress. Add falling in love at first sight and feeling her dead heart beat for the first time, my girl isn’t in the most stable position to be making good decisions.
Why are you guys acting like she had this death coming to her. Anyone in such a battered condition would chase after a fairytale like love, cause it’s an escape to potential happiness.
What y’all don’t understand is although our mc fell in love, she didn’t have a choice in this matter. Even if she felt nothing for the guy she still would’ve been forced into that manor, and forced to become a mistress. Her feelings only made her an easy target to manipulate.
And the wife, from what I’ve read in these 6 chapters, the guy has tried to divorce her multiple times. She’s the one hanging on and refusing to let go. From the comments I’ve read it doesn’t seem like love is what she’s after.
In addition to that she killed our mc not because she was heart broken, watching her husband love another, it was because our mc was talked and spoken about more in high society.
Our main character was a pawn to be used and abused in their game of chess. She had no control, no knowledge about things at play, a puppet who didn’t even know she was being made to dance.
Neither the wife nor the husband are innocent in this, and saying it our mc’s fault merely because she’s a mistress is sad.
She’s not the cause of their misfortune merely a product of it.
