Mhm I feel like the ml didn’t redeem enough for me. Like if the body switch never happen the fl would have to frame for killing lady li and her child cause I doubt he will believe fl. I don’t like how ml slept with one of his consort’s maid and got her pregnant aka lady li and act shock when she didn’t actually love him but only want him for a better life. It’s not like a maid can refuse the emperor that’s why I can’t see lady li as a villain even when she falsely accuse fl. It’s crazy how ml mom didn’t get any consequences for literally poisoning fl to almost becoming infertile. His excuse was I didn’t know about it. If this wasn't drawn with a comical tangent, the story could only be sad. The emperor is foolish and easily manipulated, he fell prey to many tatics by those who just want something from his position. He's gullible and thinks anyone different from him is wrong. He judges books by their covers. Yes, he changes, but so what. If the empress wasn't so happy go lucky, this sotry could only end in tragedy. He is not worthy of her. And I can't bring myself to find this story cute or whatever, I can only think how the empress would wrongful die if they didn't switch bodies, or how her whole family would be killed if the emperor wasn't forced to live like her.
