Quick opinion of whys: It's just that the mc is so shallow, can’t be serious, his only motivation is everything superficial, heck even his love is so not worthy i'm kinda sad for Gu Yiming. He's always the needy brat, the stereotypical gay bottom that just gets horny when he sees abs. I don't see a development and his characterization is a mess.
And i know this is so unserious and i should just turn off my brain to read this because it's "just a comedy" . But it's impossible for me to like the mc.
I'm happy that they finally got together. Like yay congrats. The break-up part is still the dumbest moment. MC's reasoning were MEH.
Gu Yiming was at the very least more interesting than Yu Bei, he's dumb and dense but in a comically right way. Less embarassing than Yu Bei. Thank. God.
