In my own personal view, i don't think the ending is that super "HAPPY". Ya, even though the 2 of them ended up together, it doesn't change the fact that kei was tainted/marked by the alpha which caused him to feel repulsive towards the touch of his beta lover. And, they can't even have happy enjoyable sex. Even after 2 years had passed, they still need to be "careful" about having sex. This story is just too depressing to read!!!
