I did some investigation.

So ever since the discovery that Caesar was a woman I HAD to go back and reread the entire story.

When Shin arrived at lump spark, Oren addressed Caesar as a "he", saying something along the lines of him not getting along well with Jake. But throughout the entire story, the writer omitted all pronouns when it came to Caesar. the artist also never once hid the titties lmao. There's always a slight curve in the chest, no indication of an Adam's apple, And when I think about it the eyelashes are pretty luscious lol.

And then when we finally discovered that Jake is not a merciful, he's having a conversation with Caesar asking why she's so interested in him and now it all makes sense lol.

But immediately in the next chapter, Liam says "I bet she's got herself a boyfriend" so I'm wondering if in the beginning Caesar was supposed to be a guy but then the writer decided to switch things up since it was kind of hard to tell anyway? Why would Oren address Caesar is "he" but Liam address Cesar as "she"? Were we not supposed to catch what Oren said? Does Oren think Caesar is a guy but Liam knows that Caesar is a girl?

Obviously we were supposed to assume that Cesar was a guy lol But that little slip up confused All of us apparently lmao.

What do you guys think? Was Caesar originally supposed to be a guy?

The longer eyelashes and big eyes were supposed to ID Caesar as a female (and yes, there is curve in her chest area, but her jacket often covers it), but in traditional BL that doesn't necessarily mean anything. In the first hiatus special where we are given a little info about the characters in the story [Ch 29.5]. Caesar's role model is listed as Angelina Jolie. Still kind of vague for readers, but Twitter followers had already been treated to artwork showing Caesar as clearly female. Here's is oldest of three I have (hit prev to see the other two): https://www.mangago.zone/home/photo/30695048/

In the official English release, Caesar's pronouns were mistranslated, which also didn't help. Fans who understood Korean finally protested a couple of recent scenes that were badly translated, so they corrected those along with fixing Caesar's pronouns in the junkyard scene. Originally, the translation had read, "I bet he's got himself a boyfriend."
