Can you give me spoilers about it? Does the MC not forgive him immediately? Cause by the way the chapters shown now, it seems like she’ll forgive him immediately like the rejection didn’t even happened and I’m not living for that!!! I want him to suffer a bit at least from the MC’s rejection!
From the spoilers I read. I'll explain in the shortest way possible. Our FL, Jasmine confronts the ML (Richard) when he overhears about her and his potential arrange marriage. She gets hurt hearing how the marriage between them will be beneficial for both of the parties especially the ML's. She confronts him and accuses ML of using her feelings for his benefit but at the same time she ask if he loves her that's all it matters and she's willing to overlook it but ML stays silent AF. He starts making excuses saying he can't lie and how he might develop feelings for her along the way blah blah... Richard even went as far as saying that he'll send a proposal despite her refusal because she has no other choice she loves him and they can unite the power of their families and tell her to face it she'll never find a better man than him and she can't tie herself to another etc. Jasmine lost all hope and tells him off, when he finally understood that he f***ed up big time, he started begging her even getting on his knees telling her he would anything.
Our Jasmine finally reaches her breaking point. That was the last nail on the coffin. She dumbs his ass, goes to her room, packs her stuff and flees in the middle of the nigh. By the time ML makes up his mind & sorts his emotions and goes to talk to the FL once again. FL was already gone. It was already dawn, Richard goes bonkers searching crazily for her. He ask the servants to get his horse and he goes searching for her but the weather wasn't on his side, the river gets flooded not allowing his to cross etc. Shite goes down. (BUT IT'S ALL HIS FAULT! Good for him)
Jasmine gets home. She is heartbroken but she shows a cheerful facade. Later, war breaks out. Richard has to go to war. Time skips to 6 months.
Yk what's crazy, while ml was in war. He realise he actually loves FL all this time, he keeps tap on her like crazy and has someone inform him in whatever jasmine is doing.
On the other hand FL is in a relationship left and right and it doesn't last. But she jumps from one man to another. And everytime ML hears of his new relationship he go bonkers, killing his enemies in the war zone.
Ohhh and yes before the above spoilers. I forgot to mention... She gets drunk right & they sleeping together. ML gets hook on her after sleeping with her once. Just know they'll be doing it for the next few days. (￣∇￣") plus a a few chapters more. And then On the last day after some crazy sexy time. Jillian is like bruh we need to chat you’ve been avoiding your duties and Richard’s like ugh fine but make it quick. So while they’re talking,
Jasmine wakes up and finds them then hears them at the most inopportune time when Jillian is like this marriage between Richard and Jasmine is politically helpful and Richard’s like yeah no shit (internally, he was already thinking he was “responsible” for Jasmine the instant they decided to have sexy times). So yeah... That happens and then jasmine gets pissed and the above happens
