some chapter described of the two, I highly believed that the ml is actually the oriest back then, what we know of is in 1st timeline, somehow ml finished doing the conquest while mc is running away, making his territory in chaos, not to mention just in short time after, the pests hit the place, so many residents died, this makes ml felt regretful, but the bad thing is mc's territories is one of the main source of food for the capital, making the prince be angry with what ml do, he then disposed him off, this is what described in early chapter
in some of first chapter, the saint was described to have his plea to the god to make his beloved came back to him, probably he felt regret, and in some chapter mc also heard from the saint that he failed to save someone, then the lost arm probably due to how prince planned to disposed him but he is failed, this new mc also knows since he heard the rumor but he thought ml would be dead by the time, also the one that this theory is true since ml kept the pilgrim's token for the safekeep, mc also said in the past saint also used the pilgrim, somehow the token fell to mc now
