I don’t think it’s love as yet but it’s going there? Idk
I honestly feel a teeny tiny percentage of love blooming and I think it's esp. In Jake's heart, a few episodes back when shin came back from that Balck haired plastic surgery guy, I don't know it might as well be me... but yeah I think of anyone would fall in love it'd be Jake first.
There’s definitely some feelings involved, especially from Jake’s side, as he’s already becoming quite possessive so it’s a slow developing romance. I think the best way to describe their feelings right now is “crush” level. For Shin it’s probably going to take longer for him to “fall in love” considering his background, and not really experiencing any at all growing up.
both have feelings for each other imo. one is deep in denial about it, clearly freaked out when jay was shot but convinced himself he was only staying with him because of Gren. Yeah right, u can’t fool me bro. Jay has feelings alright, clear as day. He seeks him out all the time. Bro took him out on a date. I’m even convinced for Jay it was love at first sight lmao when he saw him at that parking lot.
(the love at first sight thing was just a bit, clearly that shit’s a myth but it was def attraction at first interaction)
I think Jake fell in love a while back and Shin followed a bit later. The way I see it, Jake did things he never did before by not going after the brother and ven very early on when he neqrly compromised his infiltration in Ross' cassino to pull Shin out. He is somone who value shis work above everything else and he did that. Jake is not someone so undisciplined to be driven by lust. So, if it's not lust then what is it? If it's passion, then it has been growing since the beginning, almost 70 chapters in, I would dare say it must be love.
As for Shin, he fell in love (in my opinion) way later after seeign time an dtime again how Jake put him above everything else and it tickled his heart.
They've already confessed to each other (purposely keeping it indirect). Shin, at the end of Ch. 54 and Jake, at the beginning of Ch. 55. Shin's was a little more obvious. Jake's was more of a if-you-blink-you'll-miss-it moment. In fact, Shin may have missed it, but Jake certainly knew what Shin had meant.
Do you guys think love is involved here? All I see is hot passion and obviously there are some feelings involved but to go as far as saying this is love? What are your guys's thoughts?
