The ending was waay too ambiguous. I don't know what the author was going for but it's not great when there is this much confusion about what happened. Unless that's what they were going for.
I think you could make arguments for it going either way:
It's good to see you again...
- b/c I remember you and everything else.
- b/c now we're dead and it's the afterlife.
wait, why are ppl so mad at the ending and said they died?? i thought it just meant that the uke has regained his memories since he said "it's good to see you again"
