He does have the right but it's not fair that he blew up on him like that from emotions that was bubbling over from his interactions with yahwi. He could have better communicated this instead of bottling it up and bursting out on cain like that
I hate jooin as much as the next person but he has a right to know what Cain is doing especially if they want to have a good relationship.
