Who in their right mind thinks proposing is a good idea after meeting someone? That’s on you. But I do agree with the mixed signals, but some people can be indecisive, it’s better late than someone accepting the proposal and telling you much later.

Nah man. The rejection isn't the problem. Honestly I do think that's very rushed and they're just a casual fwb too lol. But after that MC tries really hard to forget but plots + the guy giving mixed signals. Like it's obvious you like him, but don't use an excuse like "family responsibilities" to play with someone's feelings.

Maybe dude wanted to take it slow and not rush to marriage so he gave mixed signal, he wanted to be there but he’s also under pressure of his traditional family who wants to get him a wife. I hope he did not take any wife and went to be with MC. Other than that not a big deal imo.
Yeah, it's not a crime and no, he hasn't taken a wife. But it's just cruel because he never said anything when he knows full well what the other person feels. It's hard for me to think of him positively.

It depends on the couple. I have seen couples married for years after getting hitched only after dating 2-3 months. It's not always about time but compatibility.
