I feel like this story would have been so much better if the seasons were flip flopped. Like if we had been introduced to Brian and then later Ian. That way we would have connected to who Brian was and felt the tragedy more deeply of seeing Ian not know who Sol is. I feel like it just would have added more depth to the story. Right now, I’m just feeling impatient with season 2 and wanting to get back to Ian and what’s going on with him :(
Yeah, I really don’t like Brian he just seems so hollow compared to Ian, like he has no depth. I can’t connect to Brian because he just seems like a typical sunny protagonist

I agree. I feel like the author could have also wrapped up the backstory in just a few chapters and that would have made us connect more to Ian as Brian wouldn’t seem like an entirely diff person with the backstory being so long
