He seems like a dickhead, we know the novel was written by an unreliable narrator (Veronica) but still he doesn't seem like someone she would fall in love with. And Veronica herself is sus too! I wonder what stakes she has to be asking the FL to stand up against her MIL. （￣へ￣）
