The author really ruined her development and the family dynamics. Like the father is jealous of their child and their mother is so obsessed with harming herself. The child is just a bait and now basically neglected.
The baby is doing baby things and most likely half asleep all the time. And need I remind you that they said she cries all the time to get the moms attention? I’m sure the author doesn’t want everything centered around the child but I get what you’re saying.
