Needs new friends

He keeps interteracting with people in his past who were awful people. And I think it'd be best if the girlfriend understand how awful those people were and that it's better if he doesn't interact with them. I think it'd be better instead if she pushed him to choose what he wants to do with his future. Does he want to go to college or do apprenticeship. And in those environments he could make new healthy friendships.
