With the “happily ever after” line at the end, I think the author really wanted to create a present version of those fairy tales we used to read as kids. The ending is okay for me if that’s what the author’s goal.
If there’s an ending I really like, it’s the “The Villainess Reverses the Hourglasses” I’m happy that they created another new plot after the ML and FL got married. It shows that even if you marry the person you love, it’s not a total happy ending. Problems will never be cut off from the world even if you get a happy ending because your kids will also struggle in their own life.
I wish they make a side story for Max and Juvelian after their marriage and with their kids too but I doubt it. Still hopeful
