he doesn’t feel guilty about her dying, but instead feels obligated to take care of her son bc of the kindness she showed him while growing up. he did say that her behavior/attitude towards him literally saved his life and he basically holds her in high regard. and also when he found her again, it was hinted that she asked him to take care of her son before she died
but i do think he feels guilty at the fact the son was being abused and neglected by his adopted parents, when he had the power to intervene so much earlier. like he tried to be a distant, caring adult in his life but it really backfired
It's not like he killed seme's mom. I gee that he adored her or maybe was even infatuated with her but that doesn't mean he needs to put it on himself to take care of her son without complaints the way he is. Unless uke's just trying to hold onto seme cause he's the only thing left of seme's mom. Anyway. Both need therapy
