Yh I think it’s a bit of both, fell for her master, then something happened to that tribe so she was taken in by another who only saw her and the kid as slaves, by that point she doesn’t know how to get out alone with a kid, and probably started thinking her father stopped looking but then maybe when the tribe started getting sick she held hope that maybe her daughter could survive and her family could find her, so she warns the kid?
That could likely be, yeah. The kid wasn't really treated well, so it would make sense for her to hope that somehow if the Baskervilles found her daughter, she'd have a better life there (likely not, but she couldn't have known her father went a-balls) or something.
That’s what I was thinking too, in her mind her father was probably a good guy so him finding her daughter would be like hoping for her daughter to have a better life then she’d known. Can’t wait to see his reaction, he holds back pretty well with the ML, but with his granddaughter from his beloved daughter…. Omg it just occurred to me he’d just started liking the ml reluctantly, just to loose him the same way he lost his other favourite child! Probably got a few grey hairs now, I know we’re meant to hate him, but I haven’t seen many evil shots of him just bad and curious so it’s hard to remember I’m supposed to hate him like the ml
Ngl, I think the daughter actually ran away and eloped with a barbarian instead of being "kidnapped", like how was she able to stay out of head Baskerville's radar for so long? She could have tried running away or dropped hints for her family to find her.
Or maybe she fell in love along the way (some Stockholn shit), but I really think she willingly went with them to get away from her family.
