My exact thoughts at this point in the story :)
Right, I really hope they don't end up together. A romantic relationship between them would seem so forced.
We don't really know Sogo's sexual orientation, because he is so devoted to his deceased first love. The fact that he could easily kiss Yamato may prove that he could be a bisexual.
Sogo is solidly straight. Hyodou-sempai was only used as as substitute and he knows it. Tamaki is like his little brother, so that's not going to happen either. Whatever happened to that detective guy from the beginning? He had potential. I would love watching Yamato fall in love. It's hard seeing him struggle with his feelings of self-worth
