I was thinking like that too! i think he was there when the fire happened since he has a burnscarr but i dont think he set it on fire unless it was like 100% accident not out of rage or anything because the chick friend doesnt even know their relationsip is rock broken. I think that new guy was probably saved in place of or abandoned his family to the fire to save himself <- me theory
This is my SECOND post about this...but my hunch just keeps getting BIGGER and BIGGER that the Dong something gloomy kid set Yuri's house on fire in the spur of a moment (fit of anger thing) and killed Yuri's parents (unintentionally). That's the ONLY plausible explanation for why Yuri is going ape-shit crazy and even taking it out on Jaerim! I'm so scared that this is true!
