I see the comments that some of the adult potato and papa wolf panels are borderline “romantic”. To which, I’m going to challenge y’all to think about what activities and experiences define a romantic relationship. He’s taking pictures of clouds and sent them to his father. Where is the implication this is indicative of a crush? Closeness does not equate to those types of feelings. You can know and express intimacy with people in your life without being mistaken for stronger romantic feelings. I don’t think in western US culture we ever teach about the layers of found family/ familial ties/ etc. hence the confusion. Until the author publishes something explicit or defines the relationship, it’s just fluff. Let the men be cute.
