Don't be to hard on them

Oh don't be to hard on Maxi and Riftan.
Maxi has been crushed for years by her father. She is yearning to be usefull, not not yearning, it's deeply ingraved into her. So she has to be reckless because if she is a useless fool, then what's the point of living ? She should just die like her father told her to...
Riftan is completely terrified about loosing her. If she were to die, he would follow for sure.
Both of them have a terrible vision of themselves and they struggle to communicate because if they told the other who they really are, what they've been through and what they feel, the other will go away and never come back. Well, that's what they think but they're so wrong.
All of this is due to their own lack of confidence. It will be better. They will grow independently and manage to find each other, for real I think.
