I thought I was one of the few who was able to see it this way... there are others who agree with you, I am one of them... tbh, to me, there is trauma on both sides, Dan and Jaekyung... I am not saying its an excuse, but it does explain some of Jaekyung's behaviour, not just in the bedroom but in general... some are saying there has been no character development for Jaekyung, but I totally disagree... and 'show and tell' hahaha, Jaekyung and Heesung are kids and Dan is the favourite toy... Heesung is probably only going this far because he knows Jaekyung likes Dan...
Knowing Jaekyungs attitude and also knowing ALL the good things he has done for Dan (visiting his grandma was totally awww) so yeah I kinda find it hard to just out right hate him? Believe it or not I still think he's decent compared to other kbl manhwa semes.....He's a weirdo for sure with his jinx and all amd seriously lacks communication skills/emotional intelligence looolll but I'm dying to know Jaekyungs back story and let's praise Heesung he was the much needed plot driver for this hot potato head ╮(￣▽￣)╭
oh, for sure... people are freaking out about this story so much, but I have seen much worse... both of them lack communication skills, to be honest, and while Jaekyung might have written his actions off earlier as 'helping Dan out so he could focus more on him', did you see the way they both paused when they were fucking in the in the gym and Potato called Jaekyung's phone?
i am pretty sure both were checking to make sure it wasn't the hospital ringing dan's phone about another emergency with his grandmother... to be honest, i doubt that Dan has ever had the time to have any experience regarding sexual relationships before, apart from what had happened with the 'mentor doctor' while he was doing his training to become a PT...
and while Jaekyung was a downright bastard in the beginning, i am pretty sure he thought Dan did have some experience regarding sex... he went way to far with that 'pleasure sleave' thing he used on Dan which ended up causing him to pass out, but that seemed to be a turning point to where he actually seemed to take notice of how Dan was reacting during sex, whether or not he was enjoying it or not... he is still a selfish lover, but more considering than he used to be...

IVE SAID THIS BEFOREEEEE though i think jealousy is not the right word. Possesiveness definitely is. Being possessive in fundamentally linked to a fear of loss, which Jaekyung clearly has. Of course, his actions are absolutely disgusting but finding an explanation behind them in different from justifying it. We're trying to understand Jaekyung while also acknowledging that even when we understand why he did what he did he is the sole perpetrator and is 100% responsible for all it. I wonder if these sort of violent and sexually abusive responses he has to any sort of emotional instability is rooted in childhood trauma, it'd be cool if mingwa didnt give us a wishy washy backstory like she did with Jiwon and actually went into the psychological aspects of JKs behaviour. Why he is the way he is and what traumatic issue impacted him so much hes like this.
Definitely, the power dynamics here means that what Jaekyung says goes unless Dans grandma is gonna die. When Jaekyhng said Dan couldn't say no im pretty sure he thought it would be easier to just submit instead of being physically forced to do it. Hes trying his best to make his life easier.
But still, i know that's how joo's characteristics is... but doing something without one's consent is just disgusting. Doesn't matter if they're your sex partner or a prostitute everybody deserves the basic human respect

Look, I never disagreed that putting Dan on display like Jaekyung did was disgusting, he definitely crossed the line, I am just not a fan of flat out vilifying the guy... and Dan has shown signs of getting more excited while being in potentially exposed situations, even if he doesn't fully recognise it himself. Dan does deserve more respect, and in some areas, Jaekyung is giving him that... this situation just seemed like Jaekyung was getting backed into a corner, so he threw a tantrum and did this...
yes and no on the 'cant say no' thing, i think... you are right that Jaekyung does hold the power in the fact that he helped Dan get out of his situation with the loan sharks, he is paying for the grandma's treatment, and he is giving Dan a roof over his head, though he wrote his actions off as 'doing all of this so you can focus more of your attention on me', and yes, a lot of it has been Dan going along with what Jaekyung says to make his life easier, but... Dan, again, seems very inexperienced regarding anything sexual, and i wonder, at least by this point, if he is not somewhat curious about Jaekyungs ideas, even if it is on a subconscious level?
But it doesn't give him a reason to do this without his full consent.

Ya know first off not condoning anything Jaekyung did so far in this series but just want to open the conversation to the other side of the coin.....
Jaekyung paid off dans loan's, got rid of the pesky loan Sharks, paid and is still paying grandma's hospital bills, lets him stay at his place for free (in terms of money) and is his employer (dan gets paid from him and yes I acknowledge that their "contract" is weird af).....soooo for someone like Jaekyung and its mentioned this chapter that he never has had attachments only flings so he probably thinks all the things he has done for Dan makes him his possession rather than thinking it might be love or Jealousy (yes very wrong again not condoning his awful and terrible behavior and actions) BUT for someone like him idk i can see why he called him his possession and retaliated in the only way he knows which is dominating via sex (man's literally a MMA fighter and likely only knows how to get what he wants via physically dominating others) and in this case showing the other party that's he has the upper hand in the situation lol rather than talking like normal human beings he's like "I'm a show and tell" ....like I get it but again how he did it is messed up for real....again I do have hope for this series let's see how the author plays this out ~
