I wholeheartedly agree, and now that we know the backstory of his relationship with his ex wife I mean it’s fair she was basically the problem in that relationship I mean it’s not like he was abusing the kid or threaten her or he child. He gave him his name and everything but she chose to leave and go back to her hometown and hook back up with her ex (baby daddy) and he ended killing himself while she was all up in her feeling thinking about the husband she left behind then her child died and now u wanna come back and play in his face like girl （￣へ￣) that’s sad truely her behavior isn’t she deserves his treatment
since i read the novel after the wedding night of mc and ml i started hating him idk why manhwa cut off that part but it was enough to realise he's the biggest piece of shit

now based on spoilers i read below, i may grow to dislike him more, but for now i don’t think he’s the WORST ML i’ve come across (cough cough Sovieshit lmfao). after reading chapter 38 it’s at least obvious he wasn’t really the problem in his last marriage, and he was honorable enough to keep up appearances with Gladys (maybe more for his sake, but it saved her reputation) and pretend her child was his. she left of her own volition and caused problems left and right because she couldn’t handle her guilt. i think he’s a harder to read character that is going through the motions of his life because of his position in the royal family.
for now it’s not enough for me to hate him, but i don’t necessarily like him either. i just kind of acknowledge his character, if that makes sense?
