I don't think I've ever seen people being ok with rape happening to females in shoujo/josei manga. Mangago hosts mainly a BL community so it may feel like comments surrounding yaoi are louder. I don't think people in a BL community complaining about toxic rape tropes in BL means that rape is more important when it happens between men etc. When you step outside of this actually small community people don't even know what BL is much less what the tropes are. Nowhere in the international MeToo movement was yaoi ever part of the discussion. I can assure you, if rape was a trope in shoujo and josei like it is in yaoi, there would be even more outraged people.
So i hate reading about rape when it creates this Stockholm syndrome situation where the uke will start warming up after a while because they're basically ok with rape but I do feel, that it's not the same here.
The uke realises the situation he is in & calls it as it is. I esp loved the moment the main dude was like just say the word, say you want only me and the uke just says fuck you because at the end of it all, he knows he's only here cause he needs to save his brother & that main dude ain't no ally of his. Ultimately they're all monsters.
So yeah, I'm waiting to see where this takes us.
