I'm trying to find a shoujo where the leads have been engaged from a young age, but the ml would constantly bring up ending the engagement because he found someone "better" than her in some way. The fl would then practice to beat this other person in their skill until one day she decided to go through with ending the engagement because she couldn't figure out how to complete the task, and the ml is so flustered because he never wanted to actually break the engagement.
