did y'all not see the progress cirrus made in his relationship with skylar? why do y'all expect the worse like they're not going out rn
just bc he's in love with skylar doesnt mean he's not gonna stop being toxic. the author hadnt even addressed his actions of using skylar to disgust his stepmom yet (or i could be wrong. plz do correct me then) and manipulating chanil and his gf's hookup either. i mean, he is better than in the beginning, but his selfish personality is very much still there- it's just that we pity/sympathized with him since his backstory is sad, and he's nicer to skylar. but he's still a teen, it's so easy to revert back to bad habits when emotions overtake their rationale. also, that ominous last panel of the chapter- it's clearly meant to make him look suspicious as hell. like his mind just broke (for lack of a better word) when his father just ignored his pouring his heart out, and then it immediately shifts to him saying to Skylar to go his house. it's more likely than unlikely that he's gonna do something for revenge or smth.

it's not delusional to assume the worst will happen when the chapter is left on a cliffhanger like that. im speculating based on the sequence of scenes the author drew that's clearly trying to lead us to think that he's planning to stir shit up by inviting skylar to his house. besides u just know for certain he's not gonna act the way bc uve read the raws. ofc, if the author breaks my expectations, ill be pleasantly surprised but like i said, im just fucking speculating.
