is it just me but as much as eclise is a good ml option, i find the master x slave trope very weird.. which makes me dislike fl and eclise's chemistry. bc it sorta feels like theyre obligated to be mutually beneficial towards one another

But that is true. Their plot is like a symbiotic relationship where they benefit from each other. They can never leave that path ever since she bought Eckles.

It's just, Eckles feels more like a ticking time bomb.

I'm all for the crown prince though!

It is not just you, I feel the same. Like eclise is okay, buy their chemistry is just not right. Mostly the fl. Like what he said, she is incalculable of trusting or give love to other bc of her trauma. So it feel more like using each other. The prince and FL have more chemistry with each other, and it is probably bc the prince doesn't act pretending that much and show his real self to FL. Same goes to FL too. While the FL seem like she was just acting in front of eclipse. I don't hate FL, the only characters I don't like is the black hair dude which is her brother and the original fl.

What makes you think Eclise is a good male lead option

well if we r gonna disregard the fact that hes a slave, he sorta gives the cold north of the duke trope who hardly shows emotions but eventually as we peel through to his character we discover that hes warm hearted and all that shit. personally not my cup of tea, but numerous ppl are a fan of characters like him, thats why i perceived him as a good ml option bc he certainly is a good addition to the mls
