It may be a difference in translation? If u compare the fanmade vs official, the fanmade says males are USUALLY (like most of the time but not guaranteed) alphas and vice versa but the official writes it as an absolute thing.
It was actually stated in the earlier chapters that guys are alphas and women are omegas, and there is only a rare chance for a guy to present as an omega, just a small percentage
