This is honestly so infuriating, to witness your family be killed alongside you in your past life, to go out of your way to try and prevent it when you're given a second chance... Only to find out your family isn't your birth family, and have been deceiving you the entire time while plotting treason? Her brother is fucking insanely creepy, being into his sister regardless of blood they grew up together, her father keeping things from her despite her telling him and being open she was doing this for THEM. Her mother I won't comment on because she truly views her as her daughter and seems to know very little hopefully (as it was common back then to keep the homemaker in the dark) I genuinely feel like everyone but Lali knew and that's the upsetting part, from that blue haired "friend" whos into her brother who taunts her, to the blonde haired duchess we just recently saw, and that's what hurts the most. To find out the one thing that kept you sane, and helped you push through was deceiving you the entire time, I know people focus on the revenge and romance aspect but this series is just so good, from the slow burn and the complication. I genuinely feel for her so much, she's honestly one of my favorite FLs and Im excited to see what she does. I truly hope she severs ties with her father and brother to some extent, or makes it blatantly clear she cannot trust them going further, but keeps in contact with her mother.
