His backstory is no excuse for him treating Dan as less than human. There is nothing pleasant about his personality and I doubt that’ll change just because we get to know his past. He’s just scum
I know but I still want to know his story. To be able to understand someone you need to see where they're coming from, and I'm just curious about it, It wouldn't change my view on him as being trash , but I still want to know.
Yesss his behaviors are abnormal, like he had some sort of trauma. The only thing the guy thinks of is being at the top, he doesn't even rest, he has insomnia, and he almost declines when Dan asks him to rest.
Just what the hell did he go through? How did his jinx even come about? How did he get to the top?

Yesssss I agree. I am very curious to know what he has gone through bc someone couldn’t possibly be the way he is rn without having had a traumatic (not sure if that’s the right word) experience.
Even if Jaekyung is beyond redeemable imo, I hope I get to see how he'd become like that, I just want a glimpse of his backstory to make him a teeny bit pleasant because his overall personality sucks. I just want to understand or see where he's coming from
